We are very lucky to have our own minibus and driver to take us out and about on trips, to sports fixtures, forest school and much more.
As you will see from our PE page a wide range of sports is a key part of our curriculum and school life.
Currently Reception and Year 1 are participating in Forest School at nearby Macaroni Woods: Noah’s Ark Children’s Venture once a week. We have our own trained forest school leader who can also do bespoke sessions for our children.
This is a fabulous wellbeing and learning resource. Pupils will often do science lessons in here, listen to story time, tend the raised beds or feed our chickens, Maple and Biscuit. The older Swan pupils may also spend time in here at break times.
After School Club
Mrs Martyn, our After School Club Playleader, is always full of new ideas. Whenever possible she likes to get the children outside in the playground or wildlife garden. They may be using the trim trail, bikes, gardening, creating fairy gardens and much more!
Though we have a relatively small school site we feel very lucky to have access to this spacious resource a short walk away in the village. Whenever possible we will be at the Jubilee Field for PE lessons and remain after school for club. We also use the field for our Sports Day.
