Once a year the Year 4, 5 and 6 children have the opportunity to go on a residential trip for 2 or 3 nights.  On alternate years we have been going to The Wilderness Centre in the Forest of Dean and Le Château d'Ebblinghem near St Omer in France.

We share our residential to The Wilderness with Bibury and North Cerney Primaries and our trip to France with these schools and Hatherop Primary.

If you and your child decided the residential was not for them, an enrichment project and trip takes place at school for the rest of the year groups, Reception to Year 3.

The Wilderness Centre

The Wilderness Centre is a country house within 30 acres of private grounds, with forest, fields and its own stone circle. It has commanding spectacular views over the River Severn to the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. Activities include abseiling off the building, canoeing, crate stacking, orienteering and much more.

Le Château d'Ebblinghem

The trip to Le Château d'Ebblinghem in France is run by NST, who are education travel experts established in 1967. Trips here include The Passchendaele Memorial Museum, The Menin Gate in Ypres, market in Le Touquet, a boulangerie to find out how croissants are made,  and a hugely popular visit to a chocolate factory!
