Religious Education

Religious Education is not part of the National Curriculum as each part of the country has its own syllabus.

As part of the Diocese of Gloucester, we adhere to the current version of the Agreed Syllabus. This includes learning about and learning from the three main religions which feature in our region of Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Other religions are discussed from time to time including Buddhism, Hinduism and Rastafarianism.

We follow Gloucestershire's Agreed Syllabus which was launched in 2017; this encompasses the new resource "Understanding Christianity".
